PBIS Winners for November
As a part of our PBIS program, five students were randomly chosen from all CMS students who had no discipline referrals for the month of November. The students were Yoselin Reyes, David Albritton, Shayl'a Moore,
Ashley Daniels, and Kenny Patterson.
Students Recognized for Being Courageous
As a part of the Beaufort County Schools Character Education program, teachers at Chocowinity Middle School nominated students during the month of November that displayed the character trait of Courage. Students and parents were treated to biscuits and juice donated by Hardee's of Chocowinity while their nominations were read by Principal Micki Warren. A winner was chosen from the elementary and middle school nominees to be the school winners. Those two chosen were Ryan Libengood for elementary and Richard Shavender for middle school. Those students recognized were Javier Mondragon, Elizabeth Gagnon, Jesica Roughton, Tashawna Warren, Richard Shavender, Chase Hall, Tanner Rouse, Ryan Libengood, Ahsha Keys, Kaleigh Crisp, Juan Tello, Noah Ayers, Karleigh Findley, Serenity Gleave, Hannah Respess, Tiffany Tillery, and Oswaldo Rangel.

Located in Chocowinity, North Carolina, CMS serves over 450 fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Students receive instruction based on the NC Standard Course of Study enhanced by extra-curricular activities including athletics and clubs.
